How does FocusUp work?
Connect your calendar and task sources, set your goals, and let FocusUp learn from your patterns (when you focus best, where time slips away). It then recommends smart time blocks and keeps them updated as your day changes.

What platforms are supported?
iOS, Android, and Web.

Do I need to start from scratch?
No. Import tasks from your calendar and tools (e.g., native Reminders/Tasks, ICS calendars). You can also paste in assignments or project lists.

What makes FocusUp different from a regular to-do app?
We don’t just track tasks—we analyze your habits, estimate realistic durations, identify your optimal focus windows, and schedule work blocks that adapt in real time.

How does FocusUp estimate task duration?
Our AI blends your historical timings, task type, difficulty, and due dates to predict a realistic time budget. Estimates improve the more you use the app.

Can I choose my preferred work style (Pomodoro, deep-work blocks, etc.)?
Yes. Pick presets (25/5, 50/10, 90/15) or create custom lengths and break rules.

Will it help me stop procrastinating?
FocusUp spots your distraction patterns, nudges you before you drift, and offers “rescue prompts” (quick wins, micro-tasks, or rescheduling suggestions) instead of generic reminders.

Does it integrate with my calendar?
Yes. We sync with standard calendars so suggested focus blocks appear alongside meetings and classes (and we avoid conflicts automatically).

Can I prioritize tasks by urgency or impact?
Absolutely. Use Deadline, Effort, and Impact to auto-rank your day. You can always override.

What if my day changes unexpectedly?
Tap “Reschedule” and FocusUp rebuilds your plan instantly—shifting blocks, preserving deadlines, and protecting your top priorities.

Data, Privacy & Security

What data does FocusUp use?
Only what you choose to connect: calendar events, tasks, and optional focus metrics (like session length, completion times). You can disable any source.

Do you sell my data?
No. We never sell personal data.

Is my information secure?
We use industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest. Access is role-based and audited. You can export or delete your data anytime from Settings.

Can I use FocusUp offline?
Yes. You can view your plan and log sessions offline; changes sync once you reconnect.

Pricing & Accounts

How much does FocusUp cost?
We offer a free tier with core planning features and a Pro plan for advanced analytics, deeper integrations, and unlimited insights. (Contact us for current pricing.)

Do you offer student or team discounts?
Yes—student pricing and team bundles are available.

What’s your refund policy?
Try Pro with a free trial. If it’s not a fit, cancel before the trial ends or within the first billing cycle for a refund on annual plans (see terms).

Support & Troubleshooting

I’m not seeing tasks on my calendar—what should I do?
Make sure calendar sync is enabled in Settings and that FocusUp is listed as a visible calendar in your device’s calendar app.

My estimates feel off. Can I fix them?
Yes—edit any estimate manually. FocusUp learns from your corrections and gets more accurate over time.

Can I export my data?
You can export tasks, schedules, and insights as CSV/ICS from Settings.
